I know I haven't written here for a while.

My job and Kerawa.com have been sucking up my time. And let's face it, I am not an A-list blogger.

However, in case you haven't noticed,  Kerawa has a new blog at http://kerawa.wordpress.com.

Kerawa.com is no more about me. It's also about you. That is why I believe it is more appropriate for me to stop relating Kerawa related news on my personal blog.

Do you know what's the latest ? The next iteration of Kerawa, Kerawa Gamma, is coming...  

We should have done this a long time ago.

Unfortunately we were busy tweaking our beta version of Kerawa.

Well, Kerawa was profiled last month by copsfm  and CamerounOne. Both profiles are in French.

We like that Kerawa.com is available in french and in english. These happen to be the two most popular languages in Africa (We need stats here to be sure about this). It has also made coding a little bit more difficult because we had to deal with internationalisation right from day one.

We are happy with the results we are acheiving now, and invite more and more people to Kerawise their stuff. Or (Kerawise ta chose)

Kerawa.com has just been profiled by StartUpAfrica, a weblog that reviews startups in Africa.

We are very honored. This encourages us further to continue improving our product and proudly serve free classified ads in Africa.

There are some features that have not been mentioned in the article however. The non exhaustive list of Kerawa features is found in our wiki.

After Cameroon, the African countries with the most ads as of 22/05/2008 are South Africa and Nigeria.

We hope more and more people will find it easy to kerawise their stuff.

Has the Kerawa.com vision changed since the first interview? Not the least. We are even more motivated than ever.

You’ve just got to love this industry.

I've learned a lesson today: Never spend a lot of time and energy writing all the code at once without consulting the final users, for you never know what the users really want.

Well I guess that is why in Kerawa.com we are adopting the same strategy: building http://www.kerawa.com through a lot of rapid iterations.
