Just when we had seen it all, this is a painting of Angelina Jolie , portrayed as the Virgin Mary.

This is still another painting.

This painting was done by Kate Kretz , and she titled it "Blessed Are Thou". The original post can be found here .

My observations:

This is a very good artistic piece of work. Looks so real.
The other women on the paintings are like total opposites to Angelina's beauty. Was this intentional ?
And Angelina as Virgin Mary? Common !! Mary was a poor lowly maiden. And Angelina is a super super star .
Very important point. Mary was a virgin. I am sure angelina at 16 wasn't.
This painting was done around Christmas period. Was this also intentional?
And where is Joseph aka Brad Pitt. I think he split with Jenifer because she didn't want Kids. Would he have accepted , with all his ego , that someone else , even a deity, should refuse him from having a kid with Jolie ?

If I knew how to draw, I think I would have drawn myself holding Angelina Jolie's hand. I think that has more probability of being true than she being a bit related to Virgin Mary.

Oh please, as if Mary really was a virgin!

Otherwise I agree with you, I dont really see the point of the painting, perhaps to give us something to talk about hehehe
She looks good though I must say
