Challenge: The Kerawa Effect Day 3. 17 more.
Posted by ekwogefee | 2 Nov, 2007
After exposing the "Kerawa Effect" challenge on day 1, and having established a mini strategy in day 2, I am now standing and facing myself, wondering what will happen to me in 17 days. There are two possible outcomes: either the Kerawa Effect succeeds or it succeeds. Now I know this because there are many brave Africans who are willing to help.
The challenge of posting 1000 free African ads in 20 days on Kerawa.com could not be done by one person. Some have taken it unto themselves to help out in cash or in kind. I want to talk about Nino, Etum, N'sienie, Adel , Septox and others still to come. I greatly appreciate their efforts.
It is to thank people like these that I just created the Kerawa 1000. As I said on day 2, this will be the list of all those who would have helped me achieve the Kerawa effect. I will contact anyone who posts an ad for free on Kerawa to get full information on him/her. If the person the person consents, I will put his/her name in the list. You can check out the current state of the list here. If I have done an error with your name or information, please contact me.
Secondly I got a tip from a friend to also create an image bloggers can put on their sites. Just like what Afrigator or Blogger does. Well I did something quick here, arranged a little slogan, played a bit with gimp and hop in 5 minutes this is what I got.

All right I
admit, I am not a good designer
. Think you can make something cooler? Why don’t
you give me a hand and design something really cool for Kerawa.com. I will be glad
to share it with all bloggers, but you will be given full credit.
I have already sent the “spams” I said I will send on day 2. Not a holy attitude I know. I still call it “Informing Africans” though. Let’s see the outcome of this.
Got any suggestions on how best to achieve this Kerawa Effect? Give me a comment and we’ll talk it out. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
On day 3, I am on 36 free African ads. In 17 days I need 964 ads. My heart is pounding, but I am not afraid. I may be wrong sometimes, but I am never in doubt. In the space of 20 days, Kerawa.com would have registered 1000 free ads if you decide to help.
PS: This post is 2 days late. There has been no internet in my country (Cameroon) of 2 days now. So shameful.
Excellent initiative; keep going on and u'l succeed !
